Elinchrom is excited to reveal the ELB 1200, a remarkably powerful, robust and portable battery pack designed to take photographers to new heights!

Portable Power

After a successful launch of the ELB 400 in 2015, Elinchrom decided to offer more flexibility to action and on-location photographers with a new unit. Weighing only 4.3 kg, the ELB 1200 is revolutionizing the photographic industry by allowing photographers to carry smaller, more powerful packs to every possible location their adventures may take them!

Lighting For All Applications

For the ELB 1200, Elinchrom completely redesigned its three flash heads (Action, Hi-Sync, Pro) with a rugged aluminium housing and tilt head, and a 7-8 mm umbrella tube.

Combined with the corresponding flash head, the Hi-Sync option allows photographers to freeze motion up to 1/8000s and obtain images with complete sharpness.

Compatible with all Elinchrom light shaping tools, photographers can take full control of their light in their workflow.

Elinchrom also equipped their new flash heads with a bright dimmable, daylight LED modelling lamp, providing exceptional lighting capabilities for both still photography and video.

New Unit, New Design

The ELB 1200 unit has been completely re-thought to address the needs of the most demanding photographers. Elinchrom evolved its traditional battery pack shape to offer photographers a more modern case.

The large OLED user interface has a very easy structure to navigate through.

The unit is light and compact yet able to withstand extremely harsh weather conditions and heavy shocks.

Availability

The ELB 1200 will be available mid-2017 with pricing to be announced at a later date.

Elinchrom will also introduce a rebate scheme towards the purchase of a new ELB 1200 for existing users of Ranger RX / Free Style.
